Our place, Ankur Bathfitt Pvt. Ltd., is over at 60 Mehta Industrial Estate, which is right by Liberty Garden in Malad West. We’ve been in the business of bath fittings for a good number of years now. When you walk into our unit, you’ll see rows and rows of taps, showers, and all the different metal parts that make a bathroom work properly. Since we are in an industrial estate, it isn’t the most beautiful part of town, but it’s very practical for the work we do. We spend our days checking the quality of the chrome finishes and making sure the threads on the pipes are cut just right. It takes a lot of attention to detail to make sure nothing leaks. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. We are just a small team that knows every single product we sell. When a customer comes in looking for a specific valve or a handle, we don’t need to look at a catalog to know if we have it in stock. We don’t use any fancy marketing talk or polished sales pitches here. We just show people what we have and explain how it works. Sometimes the machines are running and it gets a bit loud, but that’s just how it goes. Malad is a busy area, and being near the garden makes it easy for people to find us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, but we just keep doing our work.
