Our shop is tucked away at Number 11 on 13th Khetwadi Lane. It’s a tight squeeze around here, especially being so close to Harkisondas Hospital. If you’ve ever tried to drive a delivery van through these lanes, you know exactly what I’m talking about. At Dhv Fitting Pvt. Ltd., we deal with all sorts of small industrial parts and fittings. Our shelves are packed high with boxes, and sometimes it feels like we’re playing a game of Tetris just to find the right valve or connector for a customer. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a good while, and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the constant flow of people. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Most of the day is spent answering the phone or helping people who walk in with a broken part in their hand asking if we have a match. We don’t have a lot of room for a showroom, so we just keep everything organized in the back. It’s a bit cramped and the lighting isn’t the best, but we know where everything is. We aren’t trying to be the biggest supplier in Mumbai, just the one that actually has what you need when you’re in a hurry. It’s a busy, noisy life here in Khetwadi, but it’s our daily routine. We wouldn't change it for much.
