Velvet Fine Chocolates

We are located in Chembur at 801. It’s not on the main ground floor, so you have to know where you are going to find Velvet Fine Chocolates. We have been here for a few years. It’s a quiet space compared to the rest of Chembur, which is usually quite noisy. We spend most of our time working with the chocolate. It takes a bit of care, and the temperature has to be just right. If the room gets too warm, everything gets difficult. We are a small group of people who just really like what we do. It’s not a big factory. It’s more like a workshop. We have our tools and our benches, and we just get on with it. We don't really have a big storefront with lots of decorations. It’s a simple setup at 801. We focus on the work rather than how the place looks. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch if things didn't go right during the day. It happens. We aren't perfect, but we try our best. People in Chembur have been good to us. They find us by word of mouth mostly. We don't do much advertising. We just think if we do a decent job, that’s enough. It’s a nice way to spend the day, surrounded by the smell of cocoa. That’s our life here at Velvet Fine Chocolates. We just keep it small and do the work.
