You can find us up on the 5th floor of the Marol Times Square Building. It’s a big building, but our corner of it is pretty grounded. We deal with the logistics side of things, specifically intermodal stuff, which basically means moving goods using different ways like trucks and trains. It sounds complicated, but mostly it's just a lot of coordinating and making sure things aren't sitting around in a warehouse longer than they should. Our office is full of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and warehouse managers. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always someone shouting across the room about a delayed shipment or a change in a route. We don't have those fancy open-plan offices you see in magazines. It’s more about desks pushed together and lots of coffee cups. We’ve been working out of Marol for some time now, and we like being close to the action. The traffic downstairs can be a nightmare, but from the 5th floor, we just watch it and keep working. We try to stay on top of the paperwork because in this business, a lost form means a lot of trouble later on. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to get these containers from point A to point B without any extra headaches. Most days are long, but we get the job done eventually.
