Vav Life Sciences is located at 51/B Mittal Court at 224 Nariman Point. If you know Mumbai, you know this is the heart of the old business district. Our office looks out over a lot of tall buildings and you can feel the sea breeze if you’re near the windows. It’s a corporate environment, but inside our office, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We have our desks, our computers, and plenty of coffee to keep us going through the day. The building is quite famous and busy, so there is always a wait for the elevators in the morning. We spend a lot of our time looking at data and talking to our partners. It’s a lot of meetings and phone calls, really. Sometimes it feels like we are just moving papers around, but it all adds up to the work we do in life sciences. The pace at Nariman Point is fast, everyone is always in a hurry. We usually grab lunch from the local vendors or the small cafes nearby. By the time the sun starts setting over the Arabian Sea, we are usually finishing up our emails for the day. It’s a long commute for some of us, but being in such a central spot makes it worth it. We just do our best to stay organized and get our tasks finished on time every single day. We’ve been in this building for a long time and know it well.
