Varsha Decorators

When you work as a decorator in Malad West, you get used to a lot of physical labor. We are Varsha Decorators, and mostly we spend our time loading and unloading trucks with chairs, tables, and big rolls of fabric. It’s a lot of work under the sun, especially when we are setting up for a local event or a wedding. We don't have a fancy office to show off; our "office" is usually wherever the event is happening. We deal with a lot of different people, from stressed-out parents to local organizers who need things done yesterday. Sometimes the fabric gets a little dusty from the road, or a chair leg gets wobbly and we have to fix it on the spot. It’s not always pretty behind the scenes, with all the ropes and the heavy lifting, but we try to make the end result look decent. We’ve been doing this around Malad for quite some time now, so we know most of the halls and grounds pretty well. We are just a local team that knows how to put up a tent and arrange some seating. Some days are long, starting before sunrise and finishing well after the guests have gone home. We just pack everything back up and get ready for the next one. It’s tiring, but it’s what we do. We don't use big words to describe it; we just show up, do the work, and hope it doesn't rain.
