Variety Foot Wear

If you walk down Masjid Galli in Andheri West, you will find us at Variety Foot Wear. We are pretty close to the New Railway Restaurant, so the smell of food is always in the air, which makes us hungry way before lunch time. Being so near the station means there is a constant stream of people passing by our door, especially during the rush hours. The shop is filled with all sorts of footwear, from simple sandals to heavier shoes, and we have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling in the back. It is a tight squeeze when we get more than three or four people inside at once, but we make it work. I usually spend most of my time helping people find their size or rearranging the display to fit new stock. The floor gets a bit dirty with everyone coming in from the street, so we have to sweep it a few times a day. It is a noisy area with the trains and the crowds, but it feels alive and busy. We have a small stool for people to sit on while they try things on, though it is a bit wobbly now. It is just a local shop serving the people who live and work around Andheri. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where you can see what we have. It is a lot of standing all day, but we like the talk with customers.
