Banarasi Footwear & Luggage

You can find us right opposite Puja Evnew in Kandivali West. We do two things here: footwear and luggage. It might seem like an odd mix to some, but it works for the people around here. Most people who are planning a trip need both a good pair of shoes and a decent bag to put them in. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with boxes of sandals and stacks of suitcases, but we know where everything is. We don't have a fancy layout. It's more of a place where you come in and tell us what you need, and we go find it in the back or pull it from a high shelf. Kandivali West is a lively area with lots of people always moving around. We get a lot of regulars who stop by just to say hello or to see what new stock we got in. We don't use any big words or sales tactics. We just show the shoes and the bags. If they fit and they look sturdy, then that's that. The rain can be a bit of a problem during the monsoon, so we have to be careful about keeping the leather goods dry. It’s a lot of moving things away from the door when it pours. We just do our best to keep the shop running smoothly every day. It's a local life and we like it. We open up early and stay late until the street gets quiet.
