Mohini Footwear

Mohini Footwear is located at No 1/5-17 in Thakkar Bappa Colony, right on S.G. Barve Marg in Chembur East. We are pretty close to the Sangam Hotel, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. This area is famous for shoes and leather work, so we are right in the middle of all that action. Our shop is usually packed with different styles of footwear and the smell of glue and leather is everywhere. It’s a small space but we make it work. We spend our days helping people find the right fit or talking to the craftsmen who make the shoes. Chembur East is a busy place and there is always someone walking by our door. We don't have a big website or a social media manager. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes in. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the colony, especially during the festival seasons. We have been here for a long time and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a tight-knit community of workers and sellers. We take pride in just being a regular part of the neighborhood. The floors are a bit worn down from all the foot traffic, but that just shows how many people we have served over the years. We keep things simple and focus on the shoes and the people who wear them.
