Vansh Knit Processors Private Limited is located in the Churchgate area of Mumbai, which is always full of energy. Our office is on the first floor of Churchgate Chamber, at plot number five on Vitthaldas Thackarsey Marg. Being in New Marine Lines means we are right in the heart of things. The building has a lot of character, with high ceilings and those old-style windows that let in a lot of light. It can get pretty noisy outside with the honking and the crowds, but inside, we just get on with our knitting process business. Our workspace is a bit of a mix of things—old wooden desks that have been here forever and some newer technology to keep up with the times. There are always stacks of fabric samples and ledgers taking up space. It’s not a very big office, so we have to stay organized, or things get lost pretty quickly. We usually eat our lunch together at the main table, talking about whatever is going on in the city. Working in South Mumbai feels different than being in the suburbs; there's a certain history to the streets around here. We don't try to be something we're not. We are just a local business doing our work every day, making sure we stay on top of our processing schedules and keeping the business moving along as best as we can. It is a very practical place to work.
