Vanita Ashok Vaidya

This is just a small operation run by me, Vanita Ashok Vaidya, out of Chembur on Sinhgad Road. My place is 401/A, and it’s where I handle all my business stuff. I’ve lived in Chembur for a long time now, so I know the streets and the people here pretty well. I didn't want a big office in some skyscraper, so I just work from here. It’s more comfortable and I don’t have to deal with a long commute every morning in the heat. I usually start my day with a cup of tea and then get to whatever needs doing on my desk. Sometimes it's a lot of phone calls, and other times it's just sorting through piles of documents. Being on Sinhgad Road is convenient because everything I need is just a short walk away. I don’t have a big team of employees or anything like that. It’s mostly just me taking care of things as they come along. People who know me know I’m pretty direct. I don't see the point in making things more complicated than they have to be for anyone. If someone asks for help, I see what I can do and go from there. It’s a quiet way to work, but it suits me just fine. I like the independence of it and the fact that I can set my own pace. It’s a simple life and a simple business, which is how I like it. No big corporate goals, just daily work.
