Vandana Bhagat

We are located in Sea Breeze Apartments, right on Bullock Road near the Bandstand area. If you know Bandra West, you know it gets pretty crowded on the weekends with people walking by the water, but our building stays relatively tucked away. I’ve been working from apartment 23 for some time. It’s a comfortable space, though the sea air does make the windows a bit salty if we don’t clean them constantly. We don’t have a big corporate sign outside or anything like that. It’s more of a personal space where things get done. Some days it’s just me, and other days there’s more activity. The neighborhood is full of old trees and small lanes, which I like. Sometimes the internet is a bit spotty because of the old wiring, but we manage. I handle the daily tasks myself for the most part. It isn't a high-pressure office with glass walls; it’s just a place where I can focus on the work at hand. I usually have tea in the afternoon while looking out towards the road. People come by mostly by appointment since it’s a residential building. It’s a decent way to run things without the stress of a massive office complex. We just keep at it, day by day, and try to stay organized among the stacks of paper. It’s a quiet life in a busy part of the city. There is always something to do, but we take it slow.
