Pratima Sheth

Pratima Sheth is found at Flat No.1712/13 in Raheja Vihar, which is just off Chandivali Farm Road in Andheri East. Working out of a high-rise like this means we are part of a very large community. The complex itself is huge, and sometimes it takes people a bit of time to find our specific tower and flat number. We have a double unit here, which gives us a bit more space to spread out our work than a single flat would. The view from the seventeenth floor is mostly other buildings and a bit of the surrounding hills if the smog isn't too thick. It is a busy household and workspace combined into one, so there is usually something going on in the background. We don't have a formal lobby or anything like that. People just come up to the door and we let them in. The Chandivali area is always under some kind of road work, so the commute can be a bit unpredictable, but once you are inside the Raheja Vihar gates, it feels a lot more organized. We spend our hours sitting at the large table we use for everything from meetings to lunch. It’s a very informal atmosphere where we just focus on finishing our tasks. We’ve found that this simple way of working from home works best for us, even if the days get a little bit noisy sometimes.
