Our place is right at Jalaram Hall on N S Road No 6 in Vile Parle West, near Juhu. It’s a busy spot most of the time. We handle the food and the look of the place for different events that happen here. Most of the time we are busy in the kitchen or moving furniture around the hall for the next guest. Cooking for a large group of people is a lot of work and it gets very hot near the stoves. We have a team that knows how to handle the big pots and pans without making a mess. Then there’s the decorating side where we put up drapes and set the tables with covers. It’s a lot of back and forth between the kitchen and the main area during a party. We see all kinds of events here from small family get-togethers to bigger celebrations for the neighborhood. People in Vile Parle know where we are. We don't really do much advertising because people just see our work at the hall while they are attending a function. It’s a practical business for us. We focus on getting the food served on time and making sure there are enough chairs for everyone to sit. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when there are two events close together. We just keep moving and get the job done. The smell of spices is always in the air here. It’s not a quiet job but we like being around people and watching things come together.
