Urgent Courier

We've been operating out of Room 4 in the Sai Shakti Society for a while now. Harianwala Lane gets pretty busy during the day, especially being so close to Kala Ghoda and the Fountain area. Most mornings start with sorting through piles of envelopes and small boxes that need to get across town. It’s not a fancy office, just a practical space where we keep things moving. The fan hums all day and there's usually a stack of delivery slips on the desk that never seems to get smaller. I don't know, it's just how the days go here. We know the shortcuts around this part of the city because we have to. Traffic can be a real headache around here, so we just try to stay ahead of it. People drop in with stuff they need sent out, and we get it logged and ready. It’s a lot of back and forth, checking addresses and making sure the bikes are gassed up. Sometimes the rain slows things down, but that’s just how it goes in Mumbai. We don't have a big front desk or anything, just a few chairs and the counter where we do all the paperwork. It’s honest work and keeps us on our toes from early morning until the shutters go down. Being in this lane means we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. We just focus on getting the parcels where they need to go without making a big fuss about it.
