Running a software thing like Universal Erp Software Solutions isn't quite like having a regular shop on the street. Even though our address isn't listed as a public storefront, we're working away on computers most of the time. It started because I noticed how much trouble local businesses have keeping track of their inventory and sales on paper. It’s a lot of sitting in front of monitors and trying to figure out why a piece of code isn't doing what it's supposed to. Some days the eyes get really tired. We aren't some big corporate giant with hundreds of people in suits. It’s just us trying to make tools that actually work for regular people who run shops or small factories. Sometimes the internet goes slow or a server acts up, and those are the long days. We don't use much fancy talk here. If the software helps someone stop losing track of their stock, then we've done a decent job. It’s a bit of a quiet life, mostly emails and phone calls. Sometimes I miss having a physical counter where people walk in, but the work is interesting in its own way. We're just a small group trying to solve those annoying tech problems that pop up. It takes a lot of patience to get the logic right, and we spend plenty of time just testing things over and over again. It’s a slow process sometimes, but we keep at it.
