Our office for Ujwal Pharma Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away at 126 in the Gundecha Indl. Complex. It’s right on Akurli Road in Kandivali (East). It’s a typical Mumbai industrial complex, lots of stairs and people moving boxes around all day. We’ve been here at this location for a good bit now. Most days it’s just us handling the pharmaceutical side of things, making sure the orders are right and the inventory is where it should be. It’s not a quiet place. There is always someone coming in or out. We’ve got a small group of people working here, and most of us have been together for years. We know the neighbors in the complex pretty well. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up for breaks. We don’t have a lot of polished brochures or anything. We just keep track of the medicine supplies and do the paperwork that comes with it. It’s a lot of details to keep straight, so we try to stay focused. Kandivali East is a busy area, but being in the complex gives us a bit of our own space. We just do our bit every day and head home when the shutters go down. It’s a simple operation, really. No big corporate layers, just us and the work on the desk. Sometimes it's a bit cramped with all the files, but we make it work just fine.
