Our place is on the 17th floor of Saket Society, right across from Vivek College in Goregaon West. Being up that high gives us a bit of a view of Mumbai, though mostly we are just looking at the stones under the desk lamps. It’s building number 24, and the elevator can be a bit slow during the morning rush when students are heading to the college across the street. We’ve been set up in Siddharth Nagar for a while now. The office is tucked away, quiet, and filled with the usual stuff like magnifying glasses and small weighing scales. We don’t have a big storefront on Road Number 4. It’s more of a private spot where we can focus without too much noise from the street below. Most of our day is spent checking the stones and making sure the inventory matches our records. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it’s already dark outside. Mumbai life is fast, but in here, things move a bit slower because you can't rush this kind of thing. We have our regulars who know where to find us. It’s not about being the biggest name in Goregaon; it’s just about being here day in and day out. We just keep our heads down, handle the shipments, and make sure the doors are locked tight before we leave. It is just a regular diamond business trying to keep things organized.
