Tungsten Film

Tungsten Film is over in Andheri East at Ashok Nagar. We’re in Building D1, specifically Flat 71 on the ground floor of the A wing. We are right opposite where Fantasy Land used to be, which is usually how we explain our location to people. The flat has been turned into a workspace where we handle film projects and editing. It’s full of monitors, hard drives, and a lot of cables running across the floor. We spend a lot of hours sitting in front of screens, cutting footage together or working on the sound. It is a bit dark in here because we keep the curtains closed to see the colors on the monitors better. There’s always a kettle of water boiling for someone’s tea or coffee. It isn't a fancy production house with a big sign outside. It’s just a place where the work happens. Sometimes we stay late into the night when we’re trying to finish a project, and the only sound is the fans from the computers. We’ve got a couple of couches for when we need a break, but mostly it is just a lot of focused work. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. People usually hear about us through word of mouth or because they’ve worked with us before. It’s a small, dedicated group of us here and we just like making things look right on screen.
