Triveni & Metal Engineering Co. is over at 3 Gurukripa on 4th Khetwadi Lane. Khetwadi is one of those spots that feels very lived-in. Our building, Gurukripa, is right on the lane, and we’ve been working out of here for years. It’s a busy street, especially during festivals or when there’s a lot of transport moving through. The ground floor stays busy with people coming and going. We have our workspace set up to handle the metal engineering side of things. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a place where work actually happens. There’s usually some dust on the floor and tools spread out across the tables. We like it that way because it shows we’re actually doing something. The neighbors are a mix of families and other small businesses, so you always hear kids playing or people talking outside. 4th Khetwadi Lane isn't very wide, so when a truck comes to drop off materials, everything else kind of stops for a bit. We’ve gotten used to the flow of the neighborhood. Most days are pretty much the same: we come in, check what needs finishing, and get to it. Sometimes we take a break and grab tea from the stall at the corner. It’s a simple life at Gurukripa. We don’t go in for anything fancy or complicated. We just do the metal work as best as we can in the space we have. It’s been our home for a long time.
