Soni Dies Makers

Soni Dies Makers is our small workshop located at 7/A, Shivalya Apartment. We are right opposite Himmat Nagar on S. V. Patel Road. If you know Borivali West, you know this area gets quite busy with people and traffic. We’ve been here for years, working on dies and various metal tools. It’s not the most glamorous job, but we like it well enough. The shop is tucked away near Mandpeshwar Gymkhana Road, so it’s a bit of a local landmark for people in the trade. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the machinery. Every morning we open up the shutters and get to work. Sometimes the machines are a bit temperamental, but we’ve learned how to fix them over time. We don't really have a fancy office or any polished marketing. Most of our customers just walk in because they’ve heard about us from someone else. We try to be straight with people about how long a job will take. The neighborhood has changed a lot, with more cars on Patel Road every year. We just stay focused on what’s on the workbench. It’s a lot of manual labor and getting our hands dirty, but that’s just the nature of die making. We’re glad to be a part of the Borivali community for all this time. We don't have any big plans to expand; we just want to keep doing what we’re doing. It’s how we make our living.
