We’ve been here in Mumbai at 10 Chembur Bhavans Lane for a while now. It’s right opposite Swastik Chambers, so it isn't too hard to find if you know the area. We handle a lot of parcels every single day. Some are big and some are just small envelopes. It gets quite busy in the mornings when the trucks arrive. We just try to get the bags sorted out and sent to where they need to go. Not much to say about us really, we just work. It’s a pretty busy spot. People are always dropping by with things to mail. We have this one small desk right by the door where we sign people in. It can get a bit noisy with all the traffic outside but we are used to that. The lane is quite narrow actually. Our delivery vans have to be real careful when they park. We mostly do local stuff but some long-distance packages come through too. If you are looking for the office, it is just tucked away in that lane. We keep all our registers updated by hand for the most part. The guys working here know the city routes inside out by now. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some days the stacks of boxes are taller than me. We just work through them. It is a regular job. We drink tea from the stall across the road while we wait for the next load.
