We are based at 373/15 in the Worli Dairy Quarters. It is near the Vakola Bridge on Nehru Road, not too far from the Aarey Dairy. This part of Worli is always moving, especially with the bridge nearby. Our days are mostly about packages and bikes. The delivery guys come in early to sort through everything that arrived overnight. We have a counter where people drop off their parcels and we weigh them right there. The space is a bit cluttered with boxes and tape rolls, but we know where everything is. It is a noisy place because of the traffic on Nehru Road and the constant coming and going of the bikes. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a bench if you need to sit for a minute. The walls have a few maps and calendars to help us track the routes. We handle the local deliveries and the ones going further away. Sometimes a package gets delayed because of the rain or a breakdown, and we have to spend time on the phone explaining that. It is just the reality of the work. We are not a global giant, just a local courier point trying to get things from one side of the city to the other. We keep our logs by hand and make sure every parcel is accounted for before we close up for the night.
