We have our office at A6 on the first floor of Mymother Societ. It’s a quiet spot in Chembur, right near Basant Park. It doesn’t really feel like a typical office building because it’s part of a residential society. We like it that way because it’s much calmer than being in the middle of a commercial district. We do advertising work, which mostly means we sit around and try to come up with ideas for local shops and small businesses. There are only a few of us here, so the vibe is pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits or have formal meetings. Most of our best ideas come while we’re having tea on the balcony. The office is filled with books, old magazines, and half-finished projects. Sometimes the neighbor’s cat wanders in, which we don't mind at all. We spend a lot of time on our laptops, but we also do a lot of sketching on paper. It’s a nice change of pace from the hectic life in the rest of Mumbai. Chembur is a green area, so we often take a walk in Basant Park if we get stuck on a project. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small nameplate on the door. It’s a humble little workspace where we try to stay creative without all the pressure of a big agency. We've been here for a couple of years and it feels like home.
