Theobroma Food Of The Goods

This shop is sitting over in Powai, in a neighborhood that has grown quite a bit over the last few years. We have a front window where you can see some of the things we have for sale, and usually, there is a good smell coming from the kitchen area that drifts out toward the sidewalk. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful about how many people come in at once, especially during the weekend when things get a bit more crowded than usual. We have a counter where we keep the most popular items, and we are constantly refilling it as the day goes on. The staff spends a lot of time on their feet, moving between the back and the front to make sure everything is handled. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just the basic stuff that is easy to keep clean and doesn't get in the way. The floor is a light color, so we have to mop it quite often to keep it looking decent with all the foot traffic. It’s a simple routine of opening up, getting the food ready, and then dealing with whatever the day brings. Powai is a nice place to be, and we feel like we are just a small part of the local scene, providing something for the people who live and work in the nearby buildings. It’s honest work, and we just take it one day at a time.
