The Propshop India

Finding us is usually easy since we are right opposite Inez Tower 6 on Mori Road. Mahim West is a busy place and The Propshop India is right in the thick of it. Our space at 837 is usually filled with random objects, wood scraps, and half-finished pieces. We spend most of our time looking for things or fixing them up. It’s not a very tidy office, to be honest. There is always dust from something being sanded or the smell of fresh paint. People come to us when they need specific items for their projects, and we try to find or make what they need. Some days are slow and we just reorganize the shelves, but most days are pretty frantic. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have been working in Mahim for years. It’s a good neighborhood even if the traffic on Mori Road gets a bit much in the evenings. We don’t really do big meetings. Usually, we just stand around a table and figure out how to build something. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone covered in glue or carrying a large crate. It’s just how things go here. We like the work because it changes every day. One day we are dealing with old furniture and the next it’s something totally different. We just keep our heads down and keep the shop running. There is a small cat that hangs around the entrance too.
