We are situated at 4 Jss Road in Girgaum, specifically at San Rajka House on the ground floor. It’s right near the Indusind Bank, which is a landmark most people use to find us. This area of Lamington Road is incredibly busy. There are always people moving about, looking for electronics or just rushing to get somewhere. Because we are on the ground floor, it makes it easier for us to move the parcels in and out all day. The air is always filled with the sound of packing tape being pulled and boxes being moved around. It gets quite dusty with the street right outside, so we are always wiping down the counters. We have a small desk where people come to sign their slips and drop off their envelopes. There isn't much space for sitting around. We have a few plastic chairs for when someone has to wait a minute. The walls are covered in charts and schedules that we check a dozen times a day. During the monsoon, we have to be really quick about moving things from the vans so nothing gets damp. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the end of the day, we are all pretty tired. We usually grab some tea from the vendor across the street when things quiet down a little bit in the late afternoon. It’s just a plain, hardworking spot in a very crowded part of the city.
