Tease

We have been operating Tease from this little spot in Shop Number 11 for quite some time now. Being right here in the Sukh Sagar building on N S Patkar Marg means we see a lot of people every day. Most folks know the area because of the hotel nearby. Chowpatty is just a short walk away, so there is always that salty breeze coming off the ocean, especially in the evenings when things get crowded. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. Most days it is just us managing the counter and making sure things are in order. The traffic on the road outside never really stops, so there is a constant hum of cars and horns. It gets quite loud sometimes, but you get used to it after a while. We keep the door open usually to let some air in, though the dust from the street can be a bit much. It’s a busy life here in Mumbai. We start early to get things ready before the sun gets too high. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions since we are so close to the landmark hotel. We don't mind. It's just part of being a local business in this neighborhood. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. It's practical, it's where we work, and it’s how we spend our days.
