Janjikar Street is one of those places that feels like it hasn't changed in fifty years, and that is where Tapodhani Pharma is located. Our address is number 214-A, right in the middle of one of the most crowded and narrow roads you can imagine. There are always people carrying heavy loads and handcarts trying to push through the constant throng of shoppers. Our office is in an old building where the space is very tight and every square inch matters. We have to be extremely careful with how we stack our boxes so we don't end up blocking the small path for people to walk. It can get a bit dim inside during the day because the buildings are so close together that they block the sunlight. The sounds of the market and the calls of the street vendors are something we hear from morning until night. Most of our work involves sitting at the old desks, answering the phone, and keeping track of everything in our ledgers. It is a very traditional way of doing business, with plenty of handwritten notes and paper files. We don't really have a separate break area, so we just eat our tiffin at the desks. Getting stock in and out of Janjikar Street is a real struggle, so we usually try to do it very early before the street becomes impossible to navigate with any kind of vehicle.
