Sweet Memories

Working out of Flat No 701 on the 7th floor here at Vile Parle West Adajan Road is different than having a shop on the street. Sweet Memories is tucked away in this building, so people really have to know where they are going to find us. We spend a lot of our day up here, looking out at the city while we work. It’s a bit quieter than the ground floor, which helps when we need to focus. We started this because we needed something to do and we had the space. It isn't a corporate office with suits and meetings. It’s more like a workshop where things get messy and we have to clean up every evening. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, or the delivery guys get lost looking for the floor, but we are used to that by now. We handle the orders as they come in, trying not to let things pile up too much. It’s a lot of paperwork and physical labor combined. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just our name and the work we do. Most of our day is spent making sure the details are right. It’s a simple life, really. We just keep our heads down and keep moving. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing what we can with what we have up here on the seventh floor.
