Kayvee Group / Crow Hardware Solutions

We run Kayvee Group and Crow Hardware Solutions from Shop No. 4 in the K. P. Compound. We’re right on Swami Vivekanand Road, not far from NL College. Being near the college means there’s always a lot of activity around us. Our shop is where we keep all the hardware supplies like handles, hinges, and tools. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the shelves, but we manage to fit everything in. We spend a lot of time helping people pick out the right screws or the right kind of lock for their doors. The noise from SV Road is constant, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't go in for fancy displays; we just put the items where people can see them. Sometimes we have to climb up the ladder to reach the top shelves for a specific part. It’s a lot of physical work, moving boxes and organizing the inventory. We have a few regulars who come in every week for their projects. We just talk shop and get them what they need. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big showroom. We just keep the doors open and the stock ready. It’s just us doing what we’ve done for years. There’s always something to do, whether it’s restocking or just cleaning up the counter. It’s a good, steady life for us here.
