Sutambri Handlooms Private Limited

Our office is in Hari Chamber, specifically on the second floor, units 7 and 8. We're right on Shahid Bhagat Singh Road in Fort. It's an old part of Mumbai with a lot of history in the buildings. Sutambri Handlooms Private Limited is where we spend most of our waking hours. The ceilings are high and the windows are large, but the building shows its age. We work with handlooms, which is a bit different from the big automated factories. It takes more time and there’s more to check by hand. The traffic outside in Fort is always a mess, with taxis honking constantly. We've gotten used to the noise though. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, mostly the sound of paper moving and people talking about thread counts. We don't have a fancy showroom. Our space is filled with files, samples, and stacks of hand-woven materials. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going full speed. We aren't a corporate giant with a thousand employees. It’s just a small group of us who know our way around a loom and a ledger. We try to be fair with our prices and honest about what we can do. Some days are stressful when deadlines loom, but we manage. Being in the heart of the city means we’re close to everything, which helps with the logistics. It's just a regular workplace where we do our daily tasks.
