Our business is located in the Chembur Transport Nagar area, specifically in Sector Number 23 on Nityanand Baug Road. It is a very busy part of town, right near the FCI and opposite the main transport hub. There are always big lorries parked along the road, which makes getting in and out a bit of a challenge sometimes. We have a large kitchen area and a storage space for all the decorative items we use. The smell of spices and cooking often fills the air around our gate. We spend a lot of time cleaning big pots and checking on the fabric for the table setups. It is a lot of physical labor, especially when we are getting ready for a big wedding or a local party in Chembur. The floors are usually a bit damp from washing things down, and the staff is always on the move. We don’t have a fancy front office for meetings. Most people just come by and talk to us right there in the workspace. It is a bit chaotic when multiple orders are going out at once, with people shouting instructions and loading crates onto the vans. We have been in this sector for a long time, so we are used to the noise and the constant movement of the transport colony. It is a gritty, honest way to make a living, and we just focus on getting the food and decor ready.
