Suraj Airways Courier is based out of the Everest Industrial Compound in Jogeshwari West. Our office is number 306, so you have to head up the stairs past all the other industrial units to find us. It’s a noisy place with trucks coming in and out, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend a lot of time on the phone or filling out forms for the various shipments that need to go out. The air in the compound is often thick with the smell of diesel and dust, but we’re used to it. We keep a stack of old newspapers in the corner for packing, and the desk is usually covered in receipts. Working in Jogeshwari West means we are always in the thick of the action. It isn’t a quiet or pretty office, but it works for what we need to do. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just handle the parcels, check the weights, and make sure everything is ready for the airport runs. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, especially when we're loading up, but we just throw some plastic sheets over everything and keep moving. It’s a honest day's work and we don't try to make it seem like anything more than what it is.
