Sur The Wedding Planner

Our office is on the ground floor of the Malad Shopping Centre in Malad West, right across from the Metro Shoe showroom. Being B/1 on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in and talk to us. Sur The Wedding Planner is a busy place, especially when the wedding season is coming up. The room is usually full of fabric samples, flower catalogues, and big folders full of notes. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just the nature of planning events. We spend a lot of time on the phone with decorators and caterers. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with families who all have different ideas about what the wedding should look like. We just listen and try to keep everything on track. It’s a lot of long hours, especially on weekends when we are out at venues making sure the lights are right and the food is ready. We don't have a corporate vibe at all; it feels more like a family business where everyone pitches in. The Malad Shopping Centre is always buzzing with people, so there is never a dull moment. We like the energy of the market. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes things go wrong, but we just fix them and move on to the next task.
