If you walk down Sant Tukaram Road near the Vishaw Shanti Hotel, you’ll find us at Shop No 3. We are right in the middle of the Fort Iron Market area. It's a bit of a gritty place, mostly because of all the metal trade happening around us. Inside the shop, it’s a different story with all the paper and ink smells. We’ve got a couple of machines that take up most of the space in Building No 13/21. Sometimes they act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing a paper jam or cleaning the rollers. It’s just part of the job. Most of the people who come in are local business owners who need some forms or cards printed up. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you’ll just see one of us covered in a bit of ink. The lighting in the shop is a bit dim, but we know where everything is. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fan running at full speed. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise from the iron market anymore. Every day is pretty much the same, just checking the proofs and making sure the colors look okay. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just run the machines and hope the power doesn't go out.
