Sunshine Awnings

Working out of Andheri East Sector 44 C 2 means we are right in the middle of all the action. It’s a busy industrial pocket where you can hear machines running from morning till night. Sunshine Awnings is mostly a workshop, so you’ll find rolls of fabric and metal frames leaning against the walls. It gets a bit dusty with all the cutting and assembly we do, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We have a couple of heavy sewing machines that make a lot of noise, so it’s hard to hear the phone ring sometimes. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we have a big order ready to go out. We’ve been at this address for quite some time, and we know all the other shop owners on the block. We often share a laugh or complain about the traffic together during our smoke breaks. The roof leaks a tiny bit in one corner when it rains really hard, so we always have to remember to move the fabric away from that spot. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours and we make it work. We don't have a fancy showroom, just a place where we get our hands dirty and build things. It feels good to see something finished and ready to be sent out to a customer after a long day.
