Sunrise Couriers

Our shop is number 70 inside the Devra Complex, which is located in Malad East. We are right on the 8th Main, near the corner of 18th Cross Road. If you are standing in front of the Indian Bank, you can look across and see us. Sunrise Couriers is a small but very busy operation. Every morning, the floor is covered in parcels of all shapes and sizes. We have to be careful where we step until everything is sorted and bagged for the day’s routes. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting boxes and checking addresses under the light of a couple of old tubelights. The shop doesn't look like much from the outside, just a counter and some shelves, but a lot happens in this small space. We have a few delivery bikes parked out front most of the time. The neighborhood is always buzzing, so there is never a quiet moment. We don't have any corporate training or scripted ways of talking to people. We just take your package, weigh it, and tell you when it should get there. Sometimes the printer jams or the internet goes slow, but we always find a way to get the job finished. It is a simple, everyday business run by people who live right here in Malad. We’ve known some of our customers for years and they just drop their stuff off and trust us to handle it.
