We are based out of B-2, Sanjay Niwas, which is right on Jain Mandir Marg in Powai. If you know the IIT Market area, we are basically right opposite the Jain Mandir there. Mumbai is always crowded and noisy, and this part of Powai is no different. Our kitchen and storage are tucked away in the building, and there’s usually the smell of spices or fresh flowers hanging around the hallway. It’s a busy spot with students, office workers, and locals constantly walking by our door. We’ve been in this part of Mumbai for many years now. The traffic on the road outside can be a real headache when we’re trying to load the catering vans for a big delivery. Sometimes we have to park quite a distance away and carry all the heavy pots and crates by hand. We aren't a big fancy company with a lot of office staff. It’s mostly just us and a few workers getting the food ready or packing up the decor items. The Jain Mandir is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We get most of our supplies from the local markets nearby. Our days are pretty long, often starting way before dawn to get the cooking going. Powai has a lot of energy, and being near the IIT means there’s always something happening in the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work. It’s a tight space but we make it work.
