Sudarshan Pharma

Sudarshan Pharma is located at No. 51/53 A in the Maroo Bhuvan building. If you know Kalbadevi, you know how these lanes are. We are on Babu Genu Road, specifically New Hanuman Lane. It is a very crowded part of Mumbai, and sometimes it takes a long time just to get a handcart through the street. Our space in Maroo Bhuvan is stuffed with stuff because that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. There’s always someone shouting outside or a bell ringing. We’ve been in this building for a long time. The walls are thick, and it stays a bit cooler inside than out on the street, which is nice in the summer. We don't have a big reception or anything. It's just desks, chairs, and lots of paperwork and medicine boxes. Most days, we are just busy answering the phone or checking the lists. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. Being in Kalbadevi means you’re always in the middle of everything. It’s loud and dusty, but it’s where the work happens. We know the chai wallah downstairs and the other shop owners in Hanuman Lane. It’s not a corporate setup, just a regular place where we show up every morning and stay until the shutters go down. It’s a lot of walking up and down the stairs and making sure the orders are correct before they leave.
