STYLER TEXTILES LLP

We are tucked away on the third floor of Shreenath Bhawan. It is in Old Post Office Lane, right in the middle of a very crowded part of Mumbai. If you know the area around PIN 400002, you know how packed the streets get with handcarts and people. Our room is number 15. It is a small space but we make it work for our textile business. Most of the day is spent handling fabric rolls or talking to people from the market downstairs. The stairs in the building are narrow and it’s an old structure, so it has a lot of character. We don’t have air conditioning in the hallways, so it gets pretty warm in the summer months. We keep the windows open to catch any breeze. It is a noisy place with all the shouting and movement from the lane below. We do our own thing here, mostly managing orders and checking the quality of the cloth we get. It isn't a fancy place to see, just a regular office with wooden desks and some old fans. We’ve been in this lane for some time now. Everyone around here knows each other. We drink tea from the stall at the corner and keep working through the stacks of paper on our desks. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just focus on getting the textiles moved to where they need to go each day.
