Street Culture Media Pvt Ltd is located over in Byculla. We are in the Siraj Mansion, specifically at number 23 on the second Peerkhan Street. Byculla is one of those old parts of Bombay that still feels like the old days. The streets are pretty narrow and there is always something going on right outside our window. We aren’t a big flashy agency with a lobby. We just have this office in an old mansion building. It has got a lot of character, even if the walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon. We work on all sorts of media stuff here. Most of our days involve a lot of phone calls and just sitting at our desks. It gets a bit noisy because of where we are, but we have all gotten used to it by now. Being in this part of South Mumbai gives the office a certain feel. We don’t try to be anything we are not. We just do the work that comes our way and hope for the best. The stairs in the mansion are a bit steep to climb. It is a real place with real people working in it. We deal with whatever the media world throws at us each day. Sometimes it is a bit chaotic, but that is just how it is in this city. We like being in Byculla because it feels more authentic than the new business districts. No corporate talk here, just a team trying to make things happen.
