Steel Sales Company

You can find us at Shop No. 2 in Damodar Bhavan. The address is 33/35, 1st Paraswadi Lane, which is just off V.P. Road. It’s a narrow lane, so it can be a bit tricky for big trucks to navigate, but we make it work every day. Steel Sales Company has been operating from this little corner for quite a while now. We have a lot of heavy rods and sheets stacked up against the walls. It’s a small shop, but we try to use every inch of the space we have. The walls are lined with different grades of steel for all kinds of jobs. It’s usually a bit cool inside the shop because of all the cold metal stored there. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy chairs for visitors. Just a couple of stools and a wooden desk where we do all the invoices and paperwork. Most of our customers are locals or contractors who have been coming to us for many years. We don't do a lot of talking unless it’s specifically about the order or the price. V.P. Road is always buzzing with activity, but our lane stays a little bit quieter. It’s a good spot for us. We just keep our heads down and handle the loading and unloading of the trucks. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy in the lane, but that’s just part of being in this town. We just get on with it.
