Star Express International

You can find us at Shop No 11 in Jan Vikas Society. We are in Malad West, right opposite Balaji International School. Being near a school means the mornings and afternoons are very loud with kids and buses. Star Express International is basically a room full of packing tape, cardboard boxes, and weighing scales. We spend a lot of time wrapping things up and making sure the labels are stuck on right. It is a small operation. We don't have any corporate offices or fancy lobby areas. Just a counter and some space to stack crates. Sometimes the school kids come in asking for change or a bit of tape for their projects. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit but it keeps the air moving. My back usually aches by the end of the day from lifting parcels. We don't really advertise much. People in the society just know we are here. Malad West is a big place but this corner feels like a little neighborhood. We handle the paperwork and try to make sure nothing gets lost in the pile. It is just basic work, day in and day out. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the slow hours. It’s a simple life running a courier spot in the society building.
