We started Spark Sparsh Advertising Services in this small room in Malad East. It's Room No 9 in Nihal Singh Chawl. You probably know where it is if you live near Ambawadi. It’s a busy spot. We handle different kinds of ads for folks around here. Most days we are just sitting here at the desk trying to get things done on time. It gets a bit loud outside but that is just how Malad is. People come in asking for help with their shops or local flyers. We have been here for a while now. It’s not a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. Just a simple place where we do our work. We know the neighbors and they know us. Sometimes we drink tea from the stall nearby and chat about what’s happening in the chawl. It’s mostly about helping small businesses get their name out there. Nothing too complicated. We just focus on the task at hand. If you pass by Ambawadi, you might see our sign. It's a small team, maybe just a couple of us usually. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some huge company from south Mumbai. We just want to make sure the printing or the boards look okay. That's pretty much what we do every day from morning until evening. We just keep it simple and try to be helpful.
