Space Drama Architects & Interior Designers

We are based in the Samrat Building on Juhu Road. It is right in Santacruz West, not far from the Standard Chartered Bank. The name of the place might sound a bit much, but we are actually quite grounded people. The office is in B 2, and it is always filled with rolls of paper and various material samples. Juhu Road is usually packed with cars, so there is always a hum of traffic in the background while we work. We spend our days designing spaces and trying to make things look good while staying useful. It is a mix of architecture and interior work. We do not have a big corporate vibe here. Most of the time, we are wearing jeans and arguing over where a light fixture should go. It is a creative mess sometimes. We have worked on plenty of apartments in this neighborhood. People here have specific tastes, and we try to match that without getting too carried away with ourselves. We do not use a lot of industry jargon when we talk to people who come in. We just show them what we are thinking and listen to what they actually want. Sometimes the monsoon makes site visits a bit of a mess, but that is just Mumbai for you. We take our work seriously but we do not take ourselves too seriously. It is a small team and we all do a bit of everything, from sketching to supervising. (254 words)
