Southern Savouries Private Limited

Southern Savouries is located in Chheda House, which is Plot No. 7 in the BMC Industrial Estate. We are in Sai Nagar, over in Kandivali West, Mumbai. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and businesses, so there’s always a lot of noise and activity. It’s not the quietest place, but it’s perfect for what we do. We handle savory food items, and being in Kandivali gives us good access to the rest of the city. Chheda House is a sturdy old building. We’ve been here for quite some time now. We don't really have a fancy office with big chairs; it’s more about the production floor and getting things packed. Most of our day is spent making sure the batches are right. We aren't much for writing big stories about ourselves. We just show up at the estate, get the machines running, and do the work. The industrial estate vibe is very practical. Everyone is just trying to get their business through the day. We have our own little corner here at Plot 7. It’s dusty sometimes and the traffic outside can be a nightmare, but it’s home for the business. We just keep focusing on our savouries and trying to stay organized in the middle of all the Mumbai chaos.
