Sony Decorators & Caterers is over in Andheri West. We are inside the Shri Industrial Centre on 2nd Hasnabad Lane, specifically at number 20. It's a busy industrial area, so there’s always something being loaded or unloaded nearby. Our space is mostly taken up by catering equipment and various decorations we use for functions. You can usually smell something cooking if we’re prepping for a big order. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s a workspace where the real work happens. We spend our mornings checking the kitchen supplies and making sure the decorating team has what they need for the day. Hasnabad Lane can get pretty crowded with delivery vans and trucks, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze getting through. We have been working out of this industrial center for a good while. The team is just local people who know their way around a kitchen and how to set up a stage. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. Most of our work comes from people who have seen us at other weddings or parties. It’s hard work, especially when you’re standing over big pots or hauling heavy curtains, but we’re used to it. The 2nd lane is a bit quieter than the main road, which helps a bit when we’re trying to pack the vans. We just focus on getting the food right and the place looking decent for whoever called us.
