Sona The Party Shop

Sona The Party Shop is located in the Gazibo House Building on Hill Road in Bandra West. If you know Bandra, you know how busy Hill Road gets, especially in the evenings. We are right at 76/A, sitting opposite St. Stanislaus High School and not too far from Holy Family Hospital. It’s a prime spot, but it means we are always on our toes. The shop is filled with all sorts of things for celebrations. We don’t have a fancy interior designer; we just put things where they fit on the shelves. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a lot of customers come in at once, but we like the energy. Being in Bandra means we see all kinds of people every day. We’ve been here long enough that some of the kids who used to come in for birthday balloons are now coming in for their own children’s parties. It’s nice to have those kinds of connections with the locals. We don't do big advertising campaigns or anything like that. People just see the shop when they are walking by or they remember us from the last time they had a party. We try to keep things simple and helpful. If someone needs a specific color of ribbon or a certain type of candle, we do our best to find it in the back. It’s just a regular shop run by regular people who enjoy being part of the neighborhood’s celebrations. We like it here.
