Sneha Bateres & Decorators

We are based in Mulund West, over in the Ravpura Society. Sneha Bateres & Decorators is a local operation, mostly just family and a few helpers who have been with us for a long time. We handle a lot of different things like setting up decorations and getting catering gear ready. Our space in Ravpura Society is usually packed to the ceiling with folded tents, large metal cooking pots, and stacks of plastic chairs. It isn't a showroom or a fancy office. It’s just where the actual work happens every day. Mulund West is a great place to be, but the streets get very crowded, which makes it tricky when we have to load the big trucks. We often start our days extremely early, way before the sun is even up, just to get everything organized for a setup. There is a lot of heavy lifting and cleaning that nobody sees. The smell of fresh marigolds or cooking spices often hangs around our storage area. We don’t have a website or a sales department. Usually, people just find us through word of mouth or by walking into the society and asking the neighbors for us. Our hands show the wear and tear of the job, with callouses and stains from the work. Sometimes things go wrong, like a pipe leaking or a cloth getting torn, and we just have to fix it right there. It is practical work and we don't pretend it's fancy.
